Who Am I?

Matthew Efird
I stand on the shoulders of giants. I am blessed to come from a line of strong men of faith. I seek to carry on the tradition by living a life on mission. My mission? A passionate pursuit of purpose. My businesses are an avenue for ministry, relationally and financially. The opportunities that I am stewarding are for the good of others and the Glory of God.
The greatest decision outside of my relationship with Jesus Christ was marrying my high school sweetheart, Hannah. We have four amazing boys: Walker, Noah, Abel, and Warren, and a Goldendoodle named Fallon. You will most likely find us camping, building a fort, fishing, or playing a board game together as a family.
I’ve scaled multiple businesses to 7 figures in annual revenue. In 2024, we were awarded as the 10th fastest-growing company on Bulldog 100, which acknowledges the 100 fastest-growing companies founded or managed by a University of Georgia Alumni. Through the success of our business systems, we franchised the original business model of Lighting Pros. We have multiple locations in Georgia and are expanding throughout the country. I created the Pillars of Purpose podcast to share my journey in faith, family, and business, and within 5 months, it entered the top 15% of all podcasts, with thousands of unique listeners across 16 countries. As a speaker, I share my story with groups across the country and am publishing my first book in a four-part series in the fall of 2025. I have a cohort of small business owners that I mentors and challenge to greater success.
I had a unique mindset shift in 2020 when my second son, Noah Clifton Efird, passed away from Trisomy 13. His life helped to reorient the calling on my life to help others find their purpose. I am very passionate about seeing others create value in their life and for their family/community. The most rewarding part of my job now is helping my team find a path for long-term success in their career while also helping other business owners through the franchise system to create a generational impact in their family through business success. A successful business starts with nothing and creates jobs, tax revenue, community support, all while providing quality work that customers desire to pay for. It is as an honor to help lead and steward the impact that I have been trusted with overseeing. I’m striving to make a 100 million dollar impact annually by getting to 100 franchise locations that each do over a million dollars in revenue.
My greatest accomplishments in life were marrying my beautiful bride, Hannah, and being the dad to my four sons, Walker, Noah, Abel, and Warren.
